Certificate validation — three tiers

Validate at the level your governance requires.

Every certificate issued through 708C has a live validation endpoint. Access ranges from instant public lookup to full compliance-grade review sessions with audit logging.

Public Validation

No login · Instant · Always free

  • Enter serial number at 708c.com.au/validate-certificate/
  • Direct shortlink: 708c.com.au/v/[serial]
  • Returns: status, entity name, issued date, expiry date
  • Five status states: Active / Expiring soon / No longer current / Revoked / Superseded
  • Every lookup is audit-logged on the platform

Verifier Workspace

Authenticated · Persistent · Feature-rich

  • Save validation records to your workspace
  • Organise certificates into folders and groups
  • Watchlist — receive alerts when monitored certificates approach expiry
  • Evidence pack export — ZIP containing certificate, source documents, and audit trail
  • Full certification basis and certifying accountant details visible

Compliance Review Session

Time-boxed · Read-only · Fully audited

  • Granted by the platform operator for regulatory or legal review
  • Access is time-limited (configurable — default 7 days)
  • Read-only — no edits, no downloads without explicit grant
  • All access is watermarked and audit-logged to the compliance session record
  • Session start, access events, and expiry are all recorded
Evidence pack export

The complete reliance file. One download.

The evidence pack is a structured ZIP archive that contains everything a responsible entity, trustee, or AFSL licensee needs to support reliance on a 708C certificate in their own records.

Evidence pack export is available from the Verifier Workspace when a compliance session is active. The pack is generated on demand, stored securely, and served via a signed download token.

Every pack generation event is logged to the platform audit trail with the verifier's identity, the certificate serial, and a timestamp. You have a complete record of when you exported and what was in the pack at that time.

Evidence Pack Contents

📄Certificate summary (PDF or structured HTML)
📁Source documents uploaded by the investor
📋Audit trail — all material platform events for this certificate
📑Pack manifest — index of all files with sizes and types
Regulatory and compliance access

Purpose-built for regulator and legal review.

When a regulator, legal counsel, or auditor requires access to certificate records, a time-boxed compliance review session provides controlled, audited access without compromising the integrity of the live platform.

⏱️

Time-boxed access

Sessions expire automatically. The platform operator configures the access window — default is 7 days. Sessions cannot be self-extended by the reviewer.

🔍

Read-only throughout

No data can be modified, added, or deleted during a compliance session. All displayed data is watermarked with the session identifier.

📋

Complete audit log

Session start, every record accessed, and session expiry are all written to the platform's append-only audit log. The record cannot be altered retroactively.

Certificate status lifecycle

Five statuses. Always current. Always queryable.

Every validation query returns one of five definitive status states. Status transitions are automatic and event-driven — no manual intervention is required to mark a certificate as expired or superseded.

Status Meaning for reliance Trigger
Active Certificate is current and may be relied upon Accountant approval — automatic on decision
Expiring soon Current, but renewal is recommended promptly — within 30 days of expiry Automatic — platform cron at 30 days
No longer current Certificate has expired. Not current for reliance until renewed and re-issued Automatic — platform cron on expiry date
Superseded Certificate has been replaced by a renewal. New serial is active Automatic — on renewal issuance
Revoked Certificate has been revoked by the platform operator Manual — administrator action only
